  • The state government: They are the state in the united state. They are responsible for controlling the subdivision of a country in a federal form of government, which shares political power with the federal or national government and they also make laws in the state.
  • The local government: They are the one that operate in the local area, which is the village and town. It was formed in 1976, the local government is the lowest tiers of public administration within a particular sovereign state.

The state

State is defined as the government politically organized society with a particular character or organized under government. The state three main feature such as; geographic area and territory.

The element of the state

  • Population: the entirety of the people inhabiting a particular region, country, or even the entire planet. population can refer to any complete set of data in the statistical sense, population takes on another meaning when we talk about the demographic or geopolitical context.

  • Sovereignty: is the  ultimate overseer, or authority, in the decision-making process of the state and in the maintenance of order. Sovereignty is a political concept that refers to dominant power or supreme authority. In a monarchy, supreme power resides in the “sovereign”, or king.

The Nation is large body united in a common descent, language, culture, history, living in a particular area, county or territory. In other words it is an organization living collectively in a particular territory. Example are; France, U.S, Australia, Germany, U.K, China,  and Canada.

  1. Accountability: No one is above the law in a well-structured democracy. Often, a nation is constructed with systems of checks, balances, complaint processing, oversight, whistleblower protection, and auditing so that all members of the government, even top-level bureaucrats and politicians, can be monitored, investigated, and prosecuted.

  3. Politics: In a political system everyone has to enter the party his choice. The majority of developed nations have democratic systems founded on political rights such as freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, right to vote, and right to seek political office.
  4. Right and freedom: Every citizen under the government has to do what so ever he or she wants to do, without been denied of his right.
  5. Duties and obligations: As a citizen of the country, every citizen must perform his or her duty and obligations and respect them.
  6. Rule of law: The law of the rule of law states that as M.r A is treated so as M.r B is to be treated. This means the law of equality i.e impartial to everyone. Justice is to be applied.
